AWS Lake Formation is a service that allows data platform users to set up a secure data lake in days. Learn more about the Presto and Lake Formation integration to support authorization on Presto which enables Presto clusters to enforce data permissions on user queries against Lake Formation-backed data lakes. In this session see the high level design, leanings, future plans and a demo of how data platform users can use AWS Lake Formation integration to support fine-grained data access controls on Presto.

Presto at scale for enterprises require some security characteristics. This session will provide a view of contributions underway at IBM, plus we will look at some characteristics from our Presto performance analysis.
4:30pm – 5:00pm: Integrating Presto with vector databases

Vector data store and search is critical for Generative AI use cases such as Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG). In this session we can look at how Presto can be integrated with vector dbs, specifically Milvus and Faiss, and open source vector data management techniques for such use cases.
